UVA Students Suggest Ways to Make Carr’s Hill More Energy Efficient
Students at the University of Virginia are putting their architecture knowledge to use in green ways. As part of a summer architecture course, students suggested ways Carr’s Hill could run more efficiently. Simple and inexpensive steps such as installing pocket doors and making the shutters operable again will help prevent heat from escaping from the home of UVA’s president.
