What are some ways Lynnhaven River Now works locally to embrace energy efficiency?
By helping the Virginia Beach community identify, reduce, and prevent wasteful energy use, and working toward lasting, sustainable solutions, we embrace energy efficiency. Through our Pearl Programs, we offer free energy audits, guidance for installing energy-efficient upgrades, and resources for lowering your carbon footprint. Our team also connects with the public through outreach at events, neighborhood association meetings, schools, garden clubs, and more. Beyond our programs, we promote long-term solutions by planting trees to reduce the heat island effect to help indirectly lower energy usage across the city.
